Stronglifts 5x5

Good Morning,

This morning I will be completing my first week on a weightlifting program called Stronglifts 5x5, there are essentially only two days of exercises but you do them three times a week, i.e. Workout A, Workout B, Workout A and the following week you switch the days. On monday I did squats, benchpress and barbell rows, on tuesday I did squats, overhead barbell press and deadlifts, today I will be repeating mondays routine. You do squats all three days since it works the entire body, after each day of successfully lifting the weights for 5 sets of 5 reps on the next time you do that particular exercise you add 5 pounds to the bar. If you can't complete the "5x5" for any one of the exercises you stay at that weight until you can complete it (you deload 10% if it takes more than 3 workout days).

Its been a while.

Hello Everyone,

It is now September, I have been working for Home Depot since February and it is nice.

After we got home from our big Disney vacation last year I bought a car, it died and I sold it for less than 200 bucks. My Mom also had a siezure that seemed like a mild stroke, but when we took her to the ER and they ran all their tests and scans we were told she had Stage 4 Lung Cancer..... that was how our New Year's Eve went. She died on May 3rd of this year, a little over 4 months after the diagnosis. We have learned to cope with the loss and are moving on.

Shortly after returning from our vacation we found out that Ericka was pregnant, it's a boy, he was born at the beginning of August and looks like my clone. He is a fussy little one which is to be expected, everything will get easier as he grows. This is alot to put into a single blog but it has been quite some time since my last one.
